Here's what's happening in religious education during the 2020-2021 program year---
**** All PROGRAMS ARE CURRENTLY BEING HELD VIRTUALLY DUE TO COVID-19
Nursery: Open Sundays from 10:30-11:45. The curriculum of the nursery is love and acceptance. We hope all children will feel loved, nurtured, and accepted in that space.
K-5th grade: We teach a lesson each Sunday that mirrors what is being discussed in the sermon in the Fellowship Hall about 80% of the time. For example, if the sermon is on forgiveness, the lesson that day in RE will be on forgiveness as well. This allows parents and children to discuss after service.
Middle School: OWL grades 7-9. Here is a link to the curriculum: https://www.uua.org/re/owl/297213.shtml
Youth: Supported study with mentor support. Youth are examining three areas this year and executing projects in each domain. The areas are connecting to UU in the world, connecting to UUFW, and a service project.
What happens on Sunday mornings? Sunday mornings can be busy, but the pieces all come together every week. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before you are scheduled to volunteer!
